K. Shayda Kayhani graduated cum laude from Florida State University, in 2012, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, a double major in English, and a minor in Film Studies. While at Florida State, Shayda was inducted into the International Golden Key Honour Society and was a trombone player in the Florida State University Marching Chiefs. Shayda then attended Mercer Law School, earning her Juris Doctor and graduating cum laude in 2015. While in law school, she was Moot Court Chair of the Mercer Advocacy Council, a Legal Research Teaching Assistant, and an active member of the Association of Women Law Students. Shayda also competed in the 2015 National Appellate Advocacy Competition and the 2014 Ruby R. Vale Interschool Corporate Moot Court Competition. Additionally, she was awarded the Faculty Legal Writing Award and inducted into the Order of the Barristers. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Shayda worked as the sole Staff Attorney for the Enotah Judicial Circuit. She is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Florida.
